From January 2020, rain season has been pouring in Indonesia especially in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). This season might continue untill March. Heavy rain in Jabodetabek also increased the water volume which involved flood in several areas. Based on the fact, flood in Jabodetabek often occured in the first new year. However, regional government provided some aids for families which their houses flooded. Evacuation, foods, and many others solution they provided but flood still occur in every first year. In 2020, there are some uniques action from Jabodetabek’s citizen to facing flood in their areas.
A slide in swimming pool is weak! here we go!
They put a slide in flood. Many children suppose to play with friends but they can not do it because flood was occuring in their areas. No problem! Let’s play slide until this water recede.
We love waves on beach, this is our beach
Again, no problem for children about their areas for play, flood is not their enemy!. They can even swim in flood, how happy they are!.
Son: “Mom, I want to go Bali to surfing”
Mom: “We can surfing in home”
Surfing in home ….
Bali? For Jabodetabek’s citizen do not need Bali to surfing!. Flood also be alternative way to do that hobby.
Forget about banana boat. How about whale boat?
To try banana boat we have to pay expensive price. How about the cheaper one? Try this, this whale boat on flood.
How are those? It can be what-you-can-do when your house flooded and government still provides solution but can not resolve the regular trouble in every year.
To sum up everything, I do not mean they really happy when flood occur their areas. Flood also occured diseases. My aims for Indonesia government, they would resolve flood as it regular trouble in every year. Also I hope, we (Indonesians) can be more responsible to our Indonesia. Indonesia is our born place so we must to take our heart for this country.
